 Well here I am posting finally. I have a REALLY sore throat and almost-not-really-but-it-feels-like-I-do strep throat (Dad checked me for it anyway) and a runny nose and all that stuff. I can't even talk. moan moan .
I had to do a project for school on El Salvador and I finally finished and turned it in but it wasn't finished yet. The " International Food Festival " happened yesterday and it was so cool! It was also field day at the same time too. We had to make a food that was from our country we were assigned to do the report on. I made pupusas. They were the best food there excluding my friend Savanna Hatch's meatballs from Uganda. The meatballs were sooo good. Okay back to mine . Pupusas are stuffed cornmeal patties with a dough made from this Spanish flour called masa harina . They are stuffed with beans, cheese, fried pork rinds, spices, pumpkin, and all this other stuff that I forgot . We (me and Mom) only ended up using refried black beans and a mixture of farmer's cheese, colby jack, and queso fresco. Ask me later what that is. So they were soooo good! (: Even the school nurse who is from El Salvador said they were delicious.
I wished I had had some sort of picture of the pupusas, but I just messed around on Photo Booth instead. I do look sick in this picture, right?
